Frida Wannerberger is an illustrator with a fascination for beautiful things, the world and the un-everydaily.
There is a subtle narrative to her work, expressing an intense love for clothes. An analytical relationship with what we wear along with an attraction to details, ultimately led her on to the path of fashion illustration.
She received her degree in illustration and graphic design, graduating from Central Saint Martins. In London she produced imagery for the IsabellaBlow:FashionGalore! exhibition at Somerset House and was later invited as illustrator in residence at Nick Knight’s SHOWstudio
to cover fashion shows live, and has since participated in several other of the studio’s projects.
As a result of Frida’s interest for exploring illustration in response to concept and design she also works with gif animation, patterns and object making.
She has worked with Harper’s Bazaar Mexico, Harper’s Bazaar.de, A Magazine Curated By, 1Granary, Somerset House and the Isabella Blow Foundation, Dash, A Shaded View on Fashion Film, Conservatoire des Lunettes, TetraPak.
Frida was born in 1989 and works from London, Switzerland and Sweden.
